Human Rights Screening - 23.03.10

• On the 23rd March, We had a visit to the Ritzy Cinema where the Human Rights Screening was held. This gave us the opportunity to watch short films which were created by young directors. These were films that were based on Human Rights issues. It Focused on cultural problems and disrimination. This was shown by how the people and directors put thier views across.


• After we had finished watching these films, We had a chance to find out more about the two directors who came. These were the director's of "Not a normal day" and "sako shit". Each of the Directors mentioned how their films affected these issues and also the people who were experiancing them. Overall, it was a great experiance of having the chance to understand some of the issues which are happening in our everyday life.

Cliff Hall came to share with us about how he got into the advertising company. He and his team came with the idea of having a Meerkat to advetise their Car insurance website. This was a great idea which they came up with and attracted more costumers then any other car insurance website. The method which they was used to make this a great Advert was the Methodology Table. This was a table which included ways of how they put their ideas together. it showed simple steps of how to make an advert a success.

Visit To Sunnyhill Primary School

Before we went there, we had to make sure that we:

• Contact the School to make sure with them.
• Visit the School website
• Make a questionnaire for the children and the Teachers
• Aiming to ask each indivitual few questions

As part of our project on campaign, we had a school visit to Sunnyhill School. We wanted to find out more about what the children there get up to during their school days. The target Audience we chose to focus on were 5-7 years old. these were children in year 3. They dicussed with us many of the issues they come across. the table i worked with, each talked about what they enjoy about school and what they didnt. Some of the issues they had were Bullying, Racism and friendship breakout.
